With evasys to Efficient Evaluation – Tailored Quality Measurement for the NRD

The Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie Foundation (NRD) is a diaconal social enterprise that has been in existence for over 100 years, providing a wide range of services in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. The NRD supports people with disabilities in the areas of housing, work, education, and leisure activities across more than 50 locations. Additionally, the NRD offers outpatient and inpatient services for young people and their families, operates daycare centers, and provides residential, nursing, and care services for seniors through its subsidiary in elderly care. Currently, the NRD employs around 2,300 staff members.

The Challenge

Before implementing evasys, NRD’s quality management used an online survey tool that did not provide the expected ease of work. Completed paper questionnaires had to be typed in individually, resulting in a significant time investment. The new software needed to offer time savings through automation features and increase efficiency.

The Solution

Since 2008, NRD has relied on evasys for conducting surveys of residents, relatives, and caregivers. The software is also used for satisfaction surveys of production customers, suppliers, and drivers. Internal market analyses and short-term needs assessments or mood surveys are also carried out with evasys. Surveys are conducted both on paper and online, with supported communication and pictograms enhancing the comprehensibility of the questionnaires. With evasys, NRD can utilize both survey formats and conduct hybrid formats as well.

Results of the Collaboration

With evasys, NRD was able to significantly reduce the time required for surveys and evaluations. The evaluations are quick and easy to read, and the results are provided promptly. Switching to the cloud version of evasys relieved NRD’s IT department, as updates, upgrades, and fixes are applied automatically. The evasys support team responds quickly and reliably to inquiries. The positive experiences have sparked interest from other departments in using evasys, and NRD plans to further expand the software’s areas of application in the future.
