For over 25 years, we’ve been applying the latest available technology to automate processes for our customers so they can focus on what matters. We began by specializing in various document digitization services, and in the following years we witnessed the world experience rapid advances in consumer software and hardware. Bringing those technological innovations together with valuable feedback from our customers led us to develop evasys, and later evaexam.

Today, evasys and evaexam make us the only company in the world that automates both survey and exam solutions, enabling the education, healthcare, corporate and government sectors to truly close the loop on their operational performance.

Our recent merger with software and IT consulting firm Grabow & Kiss has further expanded our offerings with the addition of Qurricula, which simplifies workflow management and accreditation processes for higher education. This perfectly complements evasys and evaexam by providing even greater value for our existing and future customers.

New Management

Our founders and owners decided to rejuvenate our management team with Silvio Ewert (CTO) and Dr. Laurent Lazar (CEO). Our founders remain as valued advisors today.

Merger with Grabow & Kiss

By merging with software and IT consulting firm Grabow & Kiss, we gained a strong and experienced software partner, and expanded our locations with a new office in Budapest.

Expansion of Product Portfolio

Qurricula becomes part of our offering, which simplifies accreditation processes for higher education institutions, and evasys+ enhances evasys’ functionality for our customers.

2019

Major Release, Version 8.0

We listened to our customers, and after two years of development the latest version of evasys was released with many new features and improved functionality.

>60 Employees in Europe

Our Lüneburg headquarters grew to over 60 employees, all of whom put their heart and soul into the ongoing development and customer service for evasys and evaexam.

Family-friendly Company Award

We were awarded with the FaMi certificate which recognizes our commitment to supporting our employees. We understand the need to balance family and career and provide flexible working hours and home office allowances.

evaexam Is Introduced to the USA

Our partner and reseller, Scantron, introduced evaexam to the world’s leading education market.

2018

Establishment of Employee Union

Our employee union was founded and elected for Electric Paper Evaluationssysteme GmbH so our employees have a platform to suggest changes and improvements to our internal operations, and actively participate and take responsibility for ongoing growth.

2017

1,500+ Customers

Another milestone was achieved, with more than 1,500 customers across the globe.

Community Platform

Our community platform was established so our customers can exchange experiences, ideas, and solutions to specific challenges. Complementing our conferences and webinars, this is a large part of the thriving community we have today.

2016

20th Company Birthday

We celebrated our 20th year of operation with over 50 employees, 10 international partners, and customers in 20 countries worldwide.

2013

Global Introduction of evaexam

evaexam went global with various resellers offering our assessment automation suite to universities, private course providers, and further education and extension studies sectors.

Another milestone, evasys and evaexam were used by over 1,500 customers worldwide.

2012

Separation of Electric Paper GmbH (EPE/EPI)

EPE was divided into two business units to accelerate growth: Electric Paper Evaluationssysteme GmbH holds and develops our products; Electric Paper Informationssysteme GmbH acts as a service company for customized survey and data collection management (without owning the intellectual property).

2008

Our Second Subsidiary

Electric Paper Ltd. was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary to service the growing needs of the United Kingdom.

A milestone, more than 500 customers work with our products.

2005

evaexam Is Developed

By listening to the growing needs of our customers in the higher education sector, we created evaexam to automate and improve the quality of their tests and examination processes.

Our First Webinar

Our first free focus webinar for customers took place. Since then, hundreds of focus webinars have followed to ensure our customers get the most from our products.

2004

Entry into the US Market

We expanded our reseller network to service the north-American market.

First evasys Conference in Bad-Homburg

We heard our customers’ desire to meet us and each other to network and exchange ideas. Our annual evasys conference has now become the largest of its type in the DACH region.

2002

Our First evasys Customer

evasys was installed for the Berufsakademie Ravensburg (known today as Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)).

2001

Our First Subsidiary

Electric Paper Schweiz GmbH was founded as a subsidiary for the growing Swiss market.

evasys Is Developed

With advances in software and hardware, and by listening to the needs of our customers, evasys was developed to automate survey and feedback gathering processes.

1999

A Bigger Office

As the number of employees grew, so did the need for a larger office. We moved to Konrad-Zuse-Allee, Lüneburg. Our headquarters are here over 20 years later.

Company Founded

Electric Paper GmbH was established in Lüneburg, Germany, offering a variety of digital document processing services. We were a team of three.
